"We have something against pesticide residues!" - With this motto, Felix Strohmaier, who came up with the idea for lemonist, and his co-founder and wife Kathrin Alfen introduced their product in the VOX start-up show "Die Höhle der Löwen". Convinced of their solution for reducing pesticide residues on fruits and vegetables, they pitched their product to the critical investors - with success! Ralf Dümmel and Dr. Georg Kofler closed a deal with lemonist. After DS Group merged with Social Chain AG in 2021, Dr. Georg Kofler Chairman of the Supervisory Board and CPO Ralf Dümmel shared a spot on the first episode of the VOX start-up show. This makes lemonist one of their first joint deals since the merger!

Pesticide residues can also be found on organic fruits and vegetables - for anyone who wants to reduce these, lemonist is the perfect solution. It is very easy to use: put the fruits or vegetables in a bowl or in the sink, add one teaspoon of lemonist per one liter of lukewarm water and let it soak for 15 minutes.
The lemonist mixture is vegan, free of genetic engineering and reliably reduces many different pesticide residues. At the same time, lemonist consists exclusively of tried-and-tested ingredients such as baking soda, citric acid and salt, which ensure that pesticide residues on food are reduced.
